Agdia Testing Services     

Agdia Testing Services gives you a full range of diagnostic assays for the detection of plant pathogens.  We have over three decades of experience in all agricultural sectors, worldwide, including ornamental, vegetable, fruit and field crops. We utilize many different technologies to meet each sectors' rigorous testing requirements in order to provide Agdia customers accurate results.  Agdia Testing Services works closely with each customer, from researchers to diagnosticians and growers both in the greenhouse and field, to provide their results in the most cost effective and rapid way while maintaining customer confidentiality.

Whether this is your first time sending samples or you have sent samples to us many times before, it is important for us to understand what information you need and how you plan to use your results.  The testing services we recommend for you may be different in various situations.  For example, whether testing for export, to meet a specific regulatory requirement, testing stock plants before propagation, testing plants with unexplained symptoms or starting a virus indexing program, please contact us before sending your samples.  We will work with you to make sure you get the right services for your needs in the most economical manner.

Confidential.

It is Agdia’s policy that our customers own their results. All communications, including test reports, are confidential between Agdia and the customer unless the customer has specifically released the information to other parties via written consent.  This release can be expressed on the sample submission form, a faxed request on company letter head or via email from the company address.

Agdia will on occasion review trends in pathogen incidence and test performance using assay data. This data is not traceable to sample origin and all unique identifications have been removed. Agdia is legally required to report positive findings of certain regulated pathogens to the USDA. Should a customer submit samples for a reportable pathogen, Agdia will notify the customer both in advance of performing the test and prior to contacting the regulatory authority of positive findings.
