Lily
Key warning symptoms:
- Stripes
- Necrotic flecks
- Spots
- Deformation
Lily symptomless virus actually can cause distinctive symptoms,
including curl-stripe, in which leaves are severely twisted with
yellow or pale green striping. The virus is aphid-transmitted.
Necrotic fleck disease is caused by a combination of Lily
symptomless virus and Cucumber mosaic virus. Necrotic flecks, small
areas of dead tissue, first appear as light spots parallel to the leaf
veins, then turn brown. Cucumber mosaic virus is also spread by
aphids.
