Curtovirus-Becurtovirus Group Test

This test reacts with a variety of viruses in the Curtovirus and Becurtovirus genera. The list below represents Curtoviruses and Becurtoviruses that have been experimentally detected with our Curtovirus-Becurtovirus Group Hybridization assay.

CONFIRMED DETECTION

  • Beet curly top virus – strain A/Spinach curly top virus (BCTV-A/SpCTV)
  • Beet curly top virus – strain B/Pepper curly top virus (BCTV-B/PepCTV)
  • Beet curly top virus – strain C/Beet severe curly top virus (BCTV-C/BSCTV)
  • Beet curly top virus – strain E/Pepper yellow dwarf virus (BCTV-E/PepYDV)
  • Beet curly top virus – strain F/Beet mild curly top virus (BCTV-F/BMCTV)
  • Beet curly top virus – strain H/Beet curly top virus (BCTV-H/SpCTV)
  • Spinach severe curly top Arizona virus (SpSCTAV)
  • Spinach curly top Arizona virus (SpCTAV)

The list below represents Curtoviruses and Becurtoviruses that have not been experimentally detected, but based on in silico analysis, will likely be detected with our Curtovirus-Becurtovirus Group Hybridization assay. If you have a sample of one of these pathogens, please contact testing@agdia.com.

PREDICTED DETECTION

  • Pepper yellow dwarf virus (PepYDV)
  • Spinach severe curly top virus (SpSCTV)
  • Sugarbeet curly leaf virus (BCTV)
  • Sugarbeet curly top virus (BCTV)
  • Sugarbeet virus 1 (BCTV)
  • Tomato yellows virus (BCTV)
  • Western yellows blight virus (BCTV)

Pathogens are added to these lists as they are shown to be detected by in vitro or in silico analysis. Check here regularly for updates.
