Cucurbits are especially vulnerable to viruses in the potyvirus family. The most common of these are Watermelon mosaic virus - 2, Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, and Papaya ringspot virus. In addition to these, we frequently find other potyviruses that react with our general potyvirus test but not with any specific antisera.
